Dr. Joseph Weber-Lopez, MD is widely recognized as an "athlete’s doctor," dedicated to providing non-surgical treatments for active individuals. Known for his expertise in ultrasound-guided procedures, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, tendonitis, concussion management, and regenerative medicine, he consistently delivers state-of-the-art care through his ongoing education and collaboration with professional sports teams.​​​
Dr. Weber-Lopez brings extensive experience, having served as medical coverage for the NYC Marathon, Seton Hall University Athletics (Basketball, Baseball, Soccer), NY University Athletics, and multiple high school teams across NJ and NYC. He has also served as team physician for the New York Jets and is a frequent lecturer at national academic conferences.​

Board-certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine, Dr. Weber-Lopez completed his Family Medicine residency at NSLIJ Glen Cove Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at Atlantic Sports Health in Morristown, NJ. During his fellowship, he acted as Fellow Team Physician for the New York Jets, Seton Hall Athletics, and other local sports teams. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

As a former collegiate rugby player at Georgetown, Dr. Weber-Lopez is no stranger to high-pressure, competitive environments. In his free time, he enjoys time with his wife and teaching his three children to perfect a spiral pass. A lifelong Yankees and Giants fan, he’s always up to date on the latest scores and prospects.
